How was your first yoga experience? It was certainly a challenge and quite an eye opener! I initially struggled to follow the flow and the sun salutations until it clicked that all I had to do was listen carefully and breathe. I was surprised by how my body was able to move into the asanas and by the time we were in Savasana, I was hooked.

How do you feel today compared to the first time you stepped on a yoga mat? Physically, I feel a lot stronger, more flexible and my posture has certainly improved. I take better care of my body now. Mentally, I like to believe that I am more calm, focused and balanced.

How was your overall experience been at Bliss so far? I love the studio, the teachers, the staff and the classes! They are part and parcel of my yoga journey and help motivate me to come and practice on my mat everyday.

When did you start practicing?   December 2012

 How was your first yoga experience? My body was still quite stiff but I already felt a little lighter after the first class.

 How do you feel today compared to the first time you stepped on a yoga mat?  Much lighter, more centered and I have more energy throughout the day.

 How has your overall experience been at Bliss so far?  I keep coming back for more!

Anything else you’d like to add or share?  Yoga is a lifestyle for me more than a sport.

When did you start practicing?   June 2013.

 How was your first yoga experience?  It was challenging! I remember I couldn’t even hold the plank pose for at least 3 seconds.

 How do you feel today compared to the first time you stepped on a yoga mat?  I’ve seen some improvements (strength and balance) but there’s still so much more to learn and discover. I used to practice alone too but now I’m practicing with 2 of my officemates! :)

 How has your overall experience been at Bliss so far?  I’m really happy with Bliss Yoga – friendly staff, inspiring teachers and yogis/yoginis.

How often do you practice?  Ideally 4-5x but if school gets busy 2-3x :(

When did you start practicing?  December 2011

 How was your first yoga experience?  I think my first yoga class was an Ashtanga Class and I was absolutely clueless about it.    However, something just made me return to the mat & I never stopped since then.

 How do you feel today compared to the first time you stepped on a yoga mat?  Today, my mat is my refuge. I look forward to practicing yoga every single time. It calms me down  yet at the same time challenges me. It makes me proud yet humble as well. Yoga strikes the perfect balance in me.

 How has your overall experience been at Bliss so far?  My experiences with Bliss has been nothing short of great . From the amazing teachers, to the  most friendly staff, and down to the great people I met. I’m very grateful for my Bliss Family.

Anything else you’d like to add or share?  I just really love Yoga, and how it’s a journey! Once you think you’re nailed a pose, there will always be a step further. it really is about striving for (your own) excellence.

How often do you practice? At least two to three times a week.  I look forward to my Saturdays when I can attend Gentle Flow in the morning and then Power Yoga in the afternoon.

When did you start practicing?  My first experience was in the mid-90s but ‘for reals’ only January of 2013.

 How was your first yoga experience?  My first yoga experience was in Boracay in the mid-90s.   It was mind-blowing.  I only wished then that I could live my life like that everyday – the connection, the self-awareness, living in the present.   It is still a journey for me but since beginning of this year, I’m closer to making it a reality.

 How do you feel today compared to the first time you stepped on a yoga mat?  I only became regular in my practice since January 2013.   My yoga journey has made a profound difference in my life – I feel healthier (I no longer have gout attacks), I sleep better, and less harried.  The benefits of the practice shows up in the most unexpected spaces and occasions in my life.

 How has your overall experience been at Bliss so far?  Its my sanctuary.  I’ve discovered my love for Vinyasa flow in Bliss.  I love that most of the time before the asanas, the studio is quiet.   I love the style and energy of the teachers.  I love that the Bliss team are genuinely warm and supportive to everyone’s yoga journey.  I’ve been to other studios and practiced with other teachers but I always return to Bliss.

When did you start practicing?  May  2013

 How was your first yoga experience? I didn’t think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did now. I am totally hooked on practicing and I can’t imagine life without yoga.

 How do you feel today compared to the first time you stepped on a yoga mat? Every practice I have is a different experience. I can honestly say that all my practices feel like it’s the first time. 

 How has your overall experience been at Bliss so far? I have practiced a few years before attending Bliss and I am very glad to have discovered Bliss Yoga and will continue to attend at Bliss and promote it to my friends and family.

How often do you practice? 3-4 times a week.

When did you start practicing?  Mid – March 2013

 How was your first yoga experience? I was a bit familiar with yoga since I tried it at home using an instructional video. However, being in a class was still a different experience. The first time was a mix of emotions; confusion, difficulty, frustration but in the end a sense of peace.

How do you feel today compared to the first time you stepped on a yoga mat? Now I am more at peace with myself. Always challenging myself but not looking at how others progress. Sometimes though when it gets difficult, giving up crosses my mind but so far it hasn’t happened. Even if my balance is not good or if it is too hard, completing a practice for me is important.

 How has your overall experience been at Bliss so far? Truly inspiring. Teachers are so nice and patient, and staff are all very friendly & accommodating.

When did you start practicing? April 2013

 How was your first yoga experience?  It was something different and enlightening. My first class was a hot flow class with teacher Bianca, and I felt pain in parts of my body that I didn’t even know would hurt, but the feeling after class– knowing that you’ve done all of the asanas and feeling their effects on your body, that was amazing. I immediately got hooked.

How do you feel today compared to the first time you stepped on a yoga mat?   I feel that my asanas have improved, I’ve become stronger, and I feel like a different, much better person from who I was before I started practice.

 How has your overall experience been at Bliss so far? Bliss has been nothing but wonderful. Because of the lovely place, teachers and staff, I’ve become determined to practice everyday and apply what I have learned outside of the mat as well. :)

 How was your first yoga experience?  Challenging and enlightening at the same time. My first real yoga experience was at Bliss. It was a whole new experience for me, and I never looked back.

How do you feel today compared to the first time you stepped on a yoga mat?   Physically stronger and more flexible. Emotionally and mentally balanced and focused.

 How has your overall experience been at Bliss so far? It’s been a great journey to grow in my newly discovered yogic path with Bliss. The staff and teachers have been part of this entire journey, and they have made me want to come back on the mat to practice every single day.

 How was your first yoga experience? It was very relaxing and it was such a refreshing way to introduce fitness to the body.

How do you feel today compared to the first time you stepped on a yoga mat?  I don’t feel as tight and stiff anymore as when I first started. I feel like i am working out more muscles than when I did before I started practicing.

 How has your overall experience been at Bliss so far? It’s been very enriching! such an accommodating community of yoga lovers. I’m happy to be learning something new everyday!

Anything else you’d like to add or share? Matty Roxas Chua is the best teacher ever! and Roland always provides a personal touch to his classes by sharing thoughts and experiences. always such nurturing teachers at Bliss!

 How was your first yoga experience? I was scared of not being able to do the poses but at the end of the class, I realized there was something about it that made me want to go back

How do you feel today compared to the first time you stepped on a yoga mat? I feel much more in tune with my body and mind. I got stronger physically, and I can relax my mind more. Every class you go to gives you a different experience physically, mentally and even spiritually.

 How has your overall experience been at Bliss so far? I’ve never tried any other yoga studio here in manila, as I feel I stumbled into Bliss studio not merely by coincidence. I am truly satisfied with the teachers and the classes that I never felt the need to try others. I also truly love the community. The staff is always smiling and very friendly, I’ve never had a bad customer service experience with them.

When did you start practicing? June 2013

How was your first yoga experience? It was fun! Eventhough I was pressured to do ALL of the poses, I was able to do the poses properly by listening to my body and not being too over confident.

How do you feel today compared to the first time you stepped on a yoga mat?  I feel lighter and stronger.  I can do Chaturanga Dandasana now. hahaha! Kidding aside, I feel more positive now living life one step (or breathe) at a time.

How has your overall experience been at Bliss so far? I love yoga now because of Bliss. The teachers are pleasant and friendly. I made new friends too. Over all it is always a great experience to practice at Bliss.

Anything else you’d like to add or share? I like that Bliss has instagram/social network site. Keeps me updated. Very useful.
